Full Sail University’s Entertainment Business bachelor of science degree program combines essential business and management knowledge with personal development in a project-based environment, modeling the same kinds of professional scenarios you’ll encounter in your chosen industry. Students in this program explore a variety of business models and cover topics such as marketing, global media management, event management, business management, intellectual property, and professional selling.
BACHELOR OF ARTS, ENGLISH, LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE
The undergraduate English major with language and literature emphasis offers students a broadly based, culturally contextualized introduction to the literatures of Britain, the United States, and, increasingly, Anglophone literature from around the world. Students majoring in English are exposed to a variety of critical perspectives, and have the opportunity to pursue interests in literary history, critical theory, language study, cultural studies, and creative writing. Good writing, analytical ability, research skills, and a broadened perspective on the world are among the practical accomplishments majors can expect to acquire, all of which can be applied to a range of careers.
BACHELOR OF ARTS, PHILOSOPHY
The undergraduate program in the Department of Philosophy offers a program of study leading to a Bachelor of Arts degree, as well as a minor. The department also offers, jointly with the Department of History, a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Philosophy of Science. The department also offers a minor in ethics.
Philosophy is also a fine undergraduate major for pre-professional students: it is quite suitable for students planning careers in medicine and it is perhaps ideal for those who aspire to work in the legal profession. A degree in philosophy is a wonderful compliment to any major, whether it is in the physical sciences, social sciences, arts, or humanities. Generally speaking, training in philosophy will be valuable in any occupation that requires examination and analysis of problems, critical evaluation of alternative solutions, and rational advocacy of one's conclusions.
